What to Expect During Your Digital X-Ray
You may be asked to change into an examination gown and remove any metallic items before your exam. Once positioned on the X-ray table, the technologist will guide you through the process, which is quick and completely painless. The scan may take just a few minutes, and you may be asked to hold your breath to prevent motion blur in the images. Because our system is fully digital, your results will be available quickly, and your doctor can access them almost immediately.
Preparation for Your Digital X-Ray
No special preparation is required for most Digital X-Ray exams. However, if you have metal implants or prosthetics, be sure to inform the technologist before your scan begins.
